It’s awards season.

While SUBWAY® restaurants didn’t score a Golden Globe, SUBWAY® franchisees of Harrisonburg, VA won a coveted STOMP (SUBWAY® Team Operations & Marketing Planning) award for 2011 Small Market of the Year, North Mid Atlantic Region. The paparazzi snapped a photo of Barbara Urban, Source account team rep, and Doug Harpine, Harrisonburg Board Chair, award from SUBWAY® President and Founder, Fred DeLuca, on behalf of the winning franchisees.

The franchisees of Dayton, OH also got in on the action, picking up the STOMP award for Large Market of the Year, East North Central region.

After graduating with a Marketing/Management degree from Siena College in 2006, Joe’s devotion to film and fiction led him to LA to pursue a screenwriting career. But finding success in the movie biz was not enough to keep Joe on the west coast, and his love for his hometown Yankees and Giants brought him back east. He believes his life story was the basis for three box-office hits and one miss—Good Will Hunting, Step Brothers, Water for Elephants and Joe Dirt.

Karyn, a jock since age 6, didn’t let knee surgery stop her from pitching and ruling right field on the softball diamond. The New Jersey native is truly in her element when cheering for her favorite team, the Yankees, but admits to watching A League of Their Own on-repeat to cope with the offseason.

Anyone who’s ever seen Armando’s work knows he’s detail oriented. The same goes for his personal life. Armando moved from Peru to The States one day before his 21st birthday; has names picked out for his future children; and enjoys watching and re-watching movies to pick up on every nuance. Making sure he knows his craft as well, Armando studied journalism and communications for 4 years in Peru before receiving his BFA from Kean University.

Voted funniest in her High School class, Jackie used humor to get her through the pain of competitive running. Captain of her Division 1 Cross Country team at Loyola College in Maryland, she earned a BA in Communications with a concentration in Journalism. Jackie’s creative talents led her to narrate two Books on Tape for Random House and perform improv comedy before landing at Source, where she fits right in given her love of food, film and travel.

Measuring in at 5-foot-nothing didn’t stop Laura from being voted her high school’s Female Student Athlete of the Year and captaining three different sports. When Laura’s not handling accounts at Source she’s doing one of her favorite things—watching movies, going to dinner or watching sports, most likely the Michigan Wolverines (Laura’s alma mater) or the New York Knicks.
